Human Growth Hormones has become one of the most controversial of all modern discoveries many folks don’t know how to deal with it. Because the hormone appears naturally in the body, it has great benefits when it is present. Unfortunately some children lack it so there growth and development is stunted and they need an intervention. By the time we are reaching 30 years of age, the level of production of HGH by the pituitary gland falls to low levels, and because it controls body metabolism in adults, the signs of aging appear soon after. This is the reason HGH therapy is used by both children and adults.

HGH was initially recommended for children who were experiencing development problems due to a lack of hormone production. HGH was extracted from dead bodies and injected into the child. Only about a few drops of HGH was obtained from each body and the process was very expensive so this was not a very realistic process. Some of these children were also infected from the HGH by human pathogens and this lead to other more severe and sometimes potentially deadly diseases. Researchers have moved on from these early developments and have developed helpful and successful HGH treatments.

HGH has had a variety of uses over the years in both children and adults. HGH can help to heal an injury faster as well as help those who are trying to lose weight. It is important to remember that it is a drug and there are certain rules and regulations that must be followed. Medical HGH such as that used to treat hormone deficiencies is only available by prescription. It is against the law to obtain it by any other mean. Consumers should be ware that medical HGH is expensive and that insurance companies do not generally cover all the treatments.

Some people believe the invention of Human growth hormone (HGH) is equivalent to finding the fountain of youth. As seen on many of the Hollywood all time favorites stories, he who tries to achieve eternal youth usually is doomed. Human growth hormones were prescribed originally to increase sexual hormones but nowadays many human growth hormones supplements are being used by athletes, sufferers of menopause symptoms, and elderly people with age related issues.

The known HCG side effects seem to be predominantly dose dependent – that is, the higher the dose of HGH, the more likely it is that any given side effect will occur. It’s important, then, to understand what is meant by “normal levels.” When researchers test HGH levels in a large group of healthy volunteers, the results produce a range of values that are considered to be normal. Any test result outside that range will be considered too low or too high. Research has determined that human HGH levels change over a lifetime – after full growth is attained, the level begins to drop. Thus, in assessing human growth hormone side effects, one must consider the normal HGH level for the age of the patient.

Overburdening the body with too much HGH can also lead to long-term liver damage, or you may develop an irregular heartbeat. This is why you should never take more HGH than is recommended by your doctor or homeopathic practitioner. They are familiar with how to balance the potential benefits against possible side-effects. Stronger, leaner muscles and youthful skin are not worth it if you develop other health problems along the way.

HGH Supplements or Enhancers that are homeopathic tend to produce fewer side effects. This is because these products (usually an oral liquid that is absorbed through the membranes of the mouth) aren’t focused on replacing HGH; they encourage your own pituitary gland to produce more HGH on its own. Because they encourage your body’s own ability to produce pure, natural HGH, these products have far fewer side effects and are gentler on your body as a whole.

Sometime it can get extremely exhausting to even manage the daily tasks that many of us take it for granted.

The decree of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome spares no one. CFS can affect a grown men or women and even child. Studies have shown that CFS is more common to women than men but think no less of it, it can affect all ethnicity, gender, age, and at all region.

Depending on the severities, some may just learn to live with Chronic Fatigue, and never consult their physicians. Though it is still unclear how or why chronic fatigue happens chemically, internally, some might speculate it has to do with malfunction of a central nervous system and dysfunction of the immune system can cause inflammation or distress of some sort. At times chronic fatigue may shows noticeable symptoms, it only takes six months of repetitive and unexplained fatigue to get notice for some of these patients. Studies have display a vicious cycle between fibromyalgia and pain. It appears as if they work together to cause frustration, restlessness, lack of sleep and rest which naturally results in an increase of fatigue.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome cannot be cured but many treatments are available to relieve the symptoms of CFS. Chronic Fatigue Treatment are usually individualized according to the symptoms and needs. Most doctors recommend an initial treatment of rest, exercise and a balanced diet.

First of all let us get to know this phantom illness as we know today “Fibromyalgia“. Fibromyalgia is a perplex disorder and is often diagnosed incorrectly. But worry not, once diagnosed there are treatments out there that can help, which we will soon discuss later in this article. What are the symptoms of Fibromyalgia? It can varies between pain in the muscles, ligaments, and tendons. Similar to arthritis, the pain of fibromyalgia occurs along the areas of where the muscles mass attaching to the bone and ligaments. However, unlike arthritis, fibromyalgia does not play a part in deforming nor deteriorating the joints. The pain originates in area around the ligaments areas and usually spreads through to the neck and shoulder.

Now to the treatment options….Pfizer’s Lyrica, a medicine widely used to treat patients with seizures, nerve pain, shingles, and is offering a ray of hope for those experiencing the pain of fibromyalgia. Here are some of the facts and benefits you may want to know before trying out Lyrica.

In June of 2007 Lyrica aka Lyrica Fibromyalgia, was approved by the FDA to became the first prescription medication intended to treat patients with fibromyalgia. This action by the FDA not only it paved the road ahead in the little known field of Fibromyalgia, it give hope and help validate the fibromyalgia community which took years of struggle just to be heard by the Big Pharmaceutical Corps and the medical community.

How Does Lyrica work?

Fibromyalgia pain is believed to be nerve-related. By using Lyrica researchers belive it helps decrease nerve activities and renders a person from becoming overly sensitive to nerve-related changes. Lyrica is also intended to reduce pain, improve sleep, and help people gain back their daily routine.

How Do You Take Lyrica?

Lyrica comes as 150 milligrams to 450 milligrams capsules and can be taken twice a day to treat fibromyalgia. Your physician should determine the best dosage and schedule. Never take two or more at the same time and do not suddenly stop taking this medicine without consulting with your doctor. Withdrawal symptoms may include headache, diarrhea, sleeping difficulties, upset stomach.

The popularity of Lyrica has increased tremendously since its release. Sales are expected grow up to $641 million by 2016. With this type of revenue many pharmaceutical companies have entered the playing field and have begun creating generic medications such as Lyrica and many have failed to explain fibromyalgia patients what to expect from these medications.

What is Graves Disease? Graves disease is the known as the most common form of hyperthyroidism. This disease occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks the thyroid gland and causes it to overproduce the hormone thyroxine. With the higher thyroxine level, it can lead to host of health problems for the body. These abnormal immune responses may affect the tissue behind the eyes and even parts of your skin. Graves Disease can trigger many allergies which trigger the autoimmune response causing relapse in the patients. Once the autoimmune response is triggered, obtaining sample of the blood to check which allergies are the ones triggering the immune system automation.

Graves’ Disease Treatment

Typically, patients diagnosed with Graves’ disease will be treated with anti-thyroid medications such as methimazole, carbimazole, and propylthiouracil. In other cases, patients may be given radioactive iodine to destroy the hyper secreting thyroid cells. In rare cases, surgery may be required to remove the thyroid gland.

Patients with Graves’ disease who requiring a operation must be treated with propylthiouracil several months prior to undergoing a surgery to control the metabolic rates to normal and dose of iodine one to two weeks before the operation to decrease the swelling and blood supply of the thyroid. Procedures done in such operations are extremely complex and considered as very difficult surgery. In the past the mortality rate in thyroidectomy was high but thanks to modern day medical science and technology, it has been reduced to 1 to every 1000 operations.

Fibromyalgia Symptoms refers to the throbbing pain of the muscles and connective tissues, such as tendons and ligaments, the pain can be so severe at times that even a gentle touch can causes excruciating pain. These fibromyalgia condition is known to cause fatigue syndromes and inexplicable points of ache throughout the body. Due to its hidden nature, Fibromyalgia Symptoms is often diagnosed inaccurately and leaves behind many sufferers and physicians feeling puzzled. Historically known as a musculoskeletal disease, this disorders is known to cause muscle disorders associating with muscle pain and nerve stimulation but the recent study from fibromyalgia clinics reports have proved the defectiveness of the central nervous system affecting brain regions that are to blame for the symptomatic disorder.

Types of Fibromyalgia

Due to the obscure nature of fibromyalgia, technology and modern medicine is still unable to trace the actual causes of the disorder but have established that there are different types of Fibromyalgia Diseases. Some claims that one type of Fibromyalgia Disease is to blame for all of the symptoms in patients. Others claim there are three distinct types, consequently due to the multiple symptoms of fibromyalgia it makes treating the entire illness extremely hard.

· Primary Fibromyalgia: The main form of the condition, which is claimed to be the only form.
· Concomitant Fibromyalgia: This type is believed to accompany unrelated illnesses, like osteoarthritis.
· Secondary Fibromyalgia: This is also known as reactive fibromyalgia or post-traumatic fibromyalgia, triggered by certain illnesses or injuries.

Symptoms of Fibromyalgia

Due to the multiple symptoms, it makes this disease exceedingly tough to analyze and deal with it as a whole. Though there are multiple different indicators, all shaps of fibromyalgia shares one thing in common, the extensive pain. This acute symptom can amplify pain around the joints and causes musculoskeletal discomfort, but unlike arthritis it does not play a role in deterization of the bones but can completely raise discomfort. This ache can progress from throughout the body, accompanied by stiffness. Furthermore, facial soreness and headaches can be the symptoms of fibromyalgia. Also being trouble sleeping, tired, and fatigue are the hallmark conditions of fibromyalgia. Furthermore, having irritable bowel syndrome, bloating, constipation, diarrhea are also common symptoms. Last but not least, patients affected by fibromyalgia encounter keen sensitivity to senses such as touch, sound and smell.

These are just a few of the surface symptoms from this disorder. A ray of other symptoms are always being reported. Symptoms like depression, numbness and tingling in extremities, mood changes, menstrual cramps, dizziness, difficulty concentrating, and several other have been all reported.

Are you worn out, or just unable to recuperate your natural energy intensity no matter how much rest you receive. If the answer is yes then you may be afflicted from a condition called Adrenal Fatigue Disorder. Adrenal Fatigue Disorder (theoretically called hypoadrenia) that is a disorder that is affecting numerous people every day, in spite of this a majority of the sufferers are not even aware that their indications are even indications at all.

Today, more than four million people in the States suffer with it. This mysterious illness can destroys once healthy individuals, ends careers, and splits up families. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) inform that more people be ill with from CFS than MS, lung cancer and AIDS all put together. Yet it is an often an unrecognized illness by medical community and physicians.

Weakness and fatigue are terms that are often used as if they mean the same, but in fact they} describe different sensations. It is important to know exactly what you mean when you say “I feel weak” or “I am fatigued” because it can help you and your health professional narrow down the possible causes of your symptoms

Furthermore, the bad news about Chronic Fatigue is that there is no permanent cure to this syndrome. Treatments might create the symptoms of fatigue decrease to a great extent and the patient would be able to maintain with their regular daily tasks. Nevertheless, long term treatment options is yet to be discovered for whole cure for this awful disease that weaken ones of their strength leaving them as weak as baby.

If you’re concluding that many of these areas above are a part of your daily routine it may be time to start soliciting more questions about your overall condition. You may indeed be undergoing the symptoms of CFS – or you may be undergoing something entirely different. What’s important to note is that you shouldn’t be experiencing any symptoms of CFS at all.

With today’s science and technology, one would presume that professions who saves lives would be utmost fitted with the latest news and technologies but some are finding out that this is just a belief. Can you question your life long family doctor that has been treating your grandparents, parents, and soon to be your kids. Do you have the right to question one’s knowledge in their own field of expertise? Today, many patients are often faced with a question, “Why doesn’t my doctor know all of this?” Overwhelming majority of physicians, endocrinologists, internists, family practitioners, rheumatologists do not updated themselves with the ever changing science and technologies. Why? Because they may just not have the time to constantly update themselves with daily, weekly, or monthly discoveries of medicinal diagnoses and treatment methods.

When asked, most doctors will claim that they routinely read medical journals, but this has been shown not to be the case. The reason is multi-factorial, but it comes down to the fact that the doctors do not have the time. They are too busy running their practices. The overwhelming majority of physicians rely on what they learned in medical school and on pharmaceutical sales representatives to keep them “up-to-date” on new drug information. Obviously, the studies brought to physicians for “educational purposes” are highly filtered to support their product.

There has been significant concern by health care organizations and experts that physicians are failing to learn of new information presented in medical journals and the lack of ability to translate that information into treatments for their patients. The concern is essentially that doctors erroneously rely on what they have previously been taught and don’t change treatment philosophies as new information becomes available. This is especially true for endocrinological conditions, where physicians are very resistant to changing old concepts of diagnosis and treatment despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary because it is not what they were taught in medical school and residency.

Unfortunately, many people suffer from illnesses ranging from anything as the flu to more serious health issues such as cancer or hormonal imbalances. A few illnesses that seem to be very common today are thyroid disease and diabetes.

If you are one of the unlucky people thinks they may have health issues related to their thyroid, symptoms of aging or you are concerned about diabetes, you might want to consider making an appointment with an endocrinology doctor.

The symptoms of aging male syndrome are quite perceptible. Men suffering from lower testosterone levels invariably exhibit one or many of these symptoms, which include sleeping troubles, lower sex drive, erectile dysfunction, increased urination, muscle loss, inability to focus, hair loss, and osteoporosis.

But, the appearance of some of these symptoms can be due to other issues as well, such as issues with hypothalamus, pituitary glands, or the testicles itself, and hence, it is advisable to consult a specialist – an endocrinologist or urologist – before running oneself into any conclusions or even start worrying about AMS.
A condition called “Hypothyroidism” is where the body does not have enough thyroid hormones. There are two forms of thyroid disease, hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. The thyroid is a small organ that is shaped like a butterfly, which partially surrounds the windpipe in the throat. Since the thyroid operates the body`s metabolism, this disease is usually connected to a slow metabolism. Hypothyroid symptoms consist of tiredness, weakness, loss of hair, an increase in weight and depression. Symptoms can be difficult to spot on occasion, particularly when they are mild. Hypothyroidism occurs when the thyroid is excessively active.

There are two principal reasons or causes of Hypothyroidism. The first reason is a previous, or current swelling of the thyroid which may cause some of the cells to die, rendering them incapable of making hormones. This is usually a outcome of Hashimoto`s thyroiditis, a type of swelling resulting from an attack on the thyroid gland by the individuals own immune system. The second cause is “medical treatments”. In some instances a part of the thyroid gland is detached surgically. This is performed for thyroid cancer or concerning nodes in the thyroid. Iodine treatments for overactive thyroid can also destroy hormone producing cells. While originally the thyroid may keep up with the required construction of hormones, over time it is unable to do so. This ailment is more regular in women than in men.

How does the thyroid produce hormones? It does so with by a signal which is sent by the pituitary gland located in the brain called thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). As the body expects to be given a certain amount of thyroid hormones, when it doesn`t, the pituitary gland continues to send TSH in higher levels, sooner or later resulting in a enlarged thyroid. This inflammation is called a goiter; in this case a compensatory goiter. In contrast to goiters which are caused by too much production of thyroid hormones, this swelling is caused by the constant barrage of TSH from the pituitary gland. If the goiter becomes excessively big it can cause problems with breathing and swallowing. At that point the only solution is to remove it surgically.

Hypothyroidism is a type of thyroid disease which is simply detected through blood tests. The blood tests inspect for both T4, the main hormone createdby the thyroid, as well as TSH. In hypothyroidism T4 levels are deficient and TSH levels are elevated. Hypothyroidism treatment is usually quite simple; a pill is given. The pill contains a natural or synthetic form of thyroid hormone to enhance the body`s present levels. It can take up to a few months oftreatment before the treatments bring the hormone levels to the proper place as people react differently to the medicines. Unfortunately, treatment continues for the remainder of the patient`s life.
